Picking Conditions

Our Elliots are available for U-pick! They are large sized berry with delightful taste. 

For your blueberry source our Freezer is stocked with our Oh- So -Good- For - You Frozen berries which we picked at the peak of sweetness and ripeness. These berries can be used interchangeable with fresh in any recipe that calls for Blueberries!

Remember! Keep yourself healthy… Eat blurberriers ! Blueberries contain anthocyanins,  antioxidant pigments and various phytochemicals  having a role in reducing risks of some diseases,  including inflammation and certain cancers.

Come take a stroll off the beaten path through our spacious country store. We carry a unique blend of gifts and housewares including some of the handiest little kitchen gadgets you can imagine.

Exclusive to Parks is our signature line of preserves featuring jams, chipotles, salsas, dressings, pie fills and more.  We have even developed a no-sugar line which has met with rave reviews.

We keep our freezers stocked with an array of hard-to find local berries so that great Ontario taste is available even out of season.  That of course includes delicious Parks Blueberries!

Bakeshop

Fresh fresh fresh!  In the Parks Bake Shop, we believe in good, old-fashioned scratch baking.  We start our days early so we can present an on-going selection of fresh country food.

Blueberry Muffins, Scones, Bars, Pies, Tarts.  Have you ever tried a Blueberry Butter Tart?  You may have heard of our renowned Blueberry Oat Bars?  And the pies!  If it’s possible that you don’t enjoy blueberry pie, we have Apple, Cherry, Raspberry and more; we try to move with the seasons, so it’ll be Strawberry time soon!  If you ask, we’ll even custom bake your pie order so they’re guaranteed hot from the oven when you arrive.

“Mrs” Diane Parks has been baking with blueberries for well over forty-five years now.  And we are thrilled that over the past decade our Baker, Tina has learned all her secrets, perfected them,  and yes, even improved things.

Café

It’s only natural that if you’re shopping in a Country Store with a Bakery that your appetite will be aroused.

Way back when, long before we ever had our Country Store, our family used to sell U-pick and fresh-picked blueberries off the side of the road.

We grew accustomed to folks saying that we should serve blueberry pie and ice cream; so we did.  That went over very well.  Then it got to be that people were looking for a little lunch to go with their desserts, so we did that too.

Now our little café is a hot little meeting spot for lunch and tea.  Our menu is Heart Smart, and like our bakeshop, our focus is on fresh!

Soups, sandwiches, wraps, and a daily special that is sure to please.  It’s a great way to work up to… dessert.
