Dried Blueberries can be substituted into this recipe, as can pecans. This takes your run-of-the-mill oatmeal cookie to a whole new level.

  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2-1/4 cups all purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1-½ teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 cup oats (instant)
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup Parks Blueberries

Preheat oven to 325F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cream the butter and sugars together. Beat in the eggs.
Stir together the flour, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, oats and walnuts.
Stir the flour mixture into the butter mixture. Fold in the blueberries.
Drop dough by tablespoonfuls onto parchment paper.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until lightly browned.
